Hello Pink Fabulous People!!! Here is another round of Pink Fridays!!

Just a few weeks ago, I bought another webcam because my sister-in-law visits every Friday to chat with my brother who is now working abroad. Though I have a webcam already, I decided to get a spare because my husband sometimes gets an interview for work from home and he needs one too. So if we have a spare, we don’t need to worry anymore of who uses the camera first or not.

These applications allow them to directly talk to their customers and their branch offices worldwide without any hassle and going through long processes. Many have benefited from these web-based applications, not only businesses but individuals and families as well. Many are able to connect to their relatives and friends abroad using these applications since they are downloadable, have easy instructions and with just a few buttons to click, they instantly get linked, enabling them to get unlimited talk and chats. All these technological advancements and developments have really made our world a little smaller by the day.

Yesterday was my mom’s and my sister’s birthday. I bought them almost identical birthday cake but the only difference is the color. The pink cake belongs to my mom and the blue to my sister. They taste good too for a commercially made cakes!

Those Who Do Online Shopping, And Those Who Do Not

I believe that there are a number of different shopping behaviours and diverse approaches to buying clothes. While there are women who love to visit elegant boutiques all over the world, other women rather stay at home as they do their shopping over the internet. It is these woman who buy their clothes in a fast and relaxing way. They don’t like to queue in front of the changing rooms and do not tolerate the partly bad-tempered sales people.

However, it isn’t just about avoiding the annoyances of a crowdy Oxford Street in the weekends, but what really keeps these women returning to the web is their ultimate shopping kick of receiving parcels at home full of beautiful gifts – it feels like it’s your birthday!

Good webpages these days are excellent at describing their items and so the risk of buying something unsuitable or with imperfect fitting is low. You can find anything online, from work wear for women to vintage dresses, to this season’s maxi dresses.

Online shoppers check each and every item very carefully and will not forget to compare prices and offers. Moreover, they will take into account delivery and return costs, just in case one of the dozens of dresses is not quite like they imagined.

Now, going back to the boutique shopper, she chooses clothing using three of her senses; she views the items, touches the fabrics, and is aware of the smell. They often enjoy the memory of where in the world a specific piece of clothing was bought. They find the online shopping world cold and impersonal, and see shopping as a social occasion.

Funny thing is, I am not so sure what kind of woman I am. Are you?

PF # 115: Pink Star Pillow

Here is another delayed version of Pink Fridays. Waaaaahhhh!!!! Anyway, I am glad I still remembered.

For my entry this week. I am showcasing the pink star pillow souvenir we got from our Star City visit last year when we went to Manila for a three days and two night vacation. I was arranging my collection of stuffed toys when I remembered I haven’t took a picture of this cute star pillow!

Every Detail Matters

When you are building your dream house, every detail matters. Well, at least, that is what I observed from my friend who had her house built recently. She chose the paint colors, the tiles and of course, all the furniture and accessories. Everything has to contribute towards the look and feel she wanted her house to have.

As to the house accessories, my friend compared different faucets before choosing one and yes, she did the same thing with the plastic switch plate covers. She would not, could not let others choose them for her. At first, I found this quite amusing. But come to think of it. If it were you or me building our own dream houses, I think every detail would matter, too.

Importance Of Good Sleep

Many illnesses are a product of wrong health habits and that includes the lack of good sleep. Whether the reason for lacking sleep is related to the immense work load or just staying up late as much as possible because of Facebook and other online reasons (games or social networking), the fact is if you lack sleep, you are preventing your body to heal itself which happens during sleep. Not nap, but sleep. Actually, deep sleep. If you are half awake then the repair is not happening just the same. Having a memory foam mattress may help to give you good sleep and may be the solution if you are insomniac.

Counting Calories

Do you ever count calories when you eat? I know of some people who do. They really take time when they shop for food and beverages because they still have to do some calculations on how much calories they will have when they eat this and that kind of food.

I have not done this myself—partly because I don’t have the luxury of time when I shop. I have to admit, though, that I really want to know how much calories I have taken in. Or I could simply take in calorie burners! But before that, I should learn about the side effects of calorie burner 643.
