Spiced Pork Chops

To be honest with you guys, I am an absolute food lover! I love eating everything that is palatable from vegetables, sea foods, chicken, beef and pork. Well, except for the chicken thing. I am trying to eliminate it from my diet because of health issues I have. Talk about it soon.

Anyway, I am going to post a simple recipe that I really know how to do which is the spiced pork chops. I think it doesn’t take any genius to know how to cook this one but I am posting it. At least with this recipe, I am proud to say that I know how to cook it. ^_^ By the way, this is a special pork chop recipe so please don’t get frighten with the ingredients.

(looked something like this)

Ingredients:
1. one half pounds apricots
2. six pork chops dripping
3. one and one half teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4. one half tablespoon made mustard
5. sale to taste
6. one forth teaspoon cinnamon
7. one and one half tablespoon lemon juice
8. six tablespoon water
9. one tablespoon brown sugar

Cooking Instruction:
Marinate apricots in cold water overnight. Brown chops quickly on both sides in little fat. Then transfer it to an ovenproof dish. Add everything, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, cinnamon, lemon juice, water, sugar and mix thoroughly. Cook slowly until the sugar bits are dissolved. Add the drained apricots and simmer for at least 10 minutes. Pour the sauce over chops, cover and cook in moderate oven, 350F for one hour or until the chops are tender.

Well, if you want the old fashioned way of cooking pork chops. Just marinate chops in a bowl with soy sauce and lemon juice overnight. Fried the chops until juicy brown and serve with ketchup!
