Just the other weekend, my daughter who was still 10 months old at the time went under surgery to correct her hernia. The operation was a success both physically and financially. Physically because her body responded very well and is now recuperating. Financially, because we were able to pay up her surgery from donations and fund raising activities online. Thanks to our blogger friends, friends and relatives who helped us.

Anyway, it would have been very easy financially, if we had health insurance that covers congenital defects. Unfortunately, my husband’s health insurance doesn’t cover this. But still I thank God because I was also given a lot of writing job on auto insurance claim and these job opportunities helped us with the financial needs we had to go through before and after operation.

So, I guess there is no problem with no solution if you just trust in God!
