Have you seen the movie 27 Dresses? It’s about a girl who’s been a bridesmaid 27 times already so basically the title refers to the 27 bridesmaid dresses she wore. But this time around, supposedly her 28th time to don the bridesmaid dress, she is having second thoughts. Why when it’s her sister that she’s going to be a bridesmaid to? Well, her sister is about to marry the man that the perpetual bridesmaid is secretly in love with!

Pretty mixed-up, huh? This is actually an old film, released almost 4 years ago. But I really enjoyed watching it. It starred Katherine Heigl as the perpetual bridesmaid and James Marsden.

If I was still single and was to play bridesmaid 27 times, I don’t think I’d survive! That would make me feel really bad about myself. Imagine, everybody’s getting married and I’m stuck as the bridesmaid. Actually, the comedic cruelty of the situation is what the movie was all about.
