There are a lot of insurance companies nowadays. One of the most common insurances companies are the ones that sells accident insurance. These kinds of insurance are selling like pancakes because it is affordable and covers annually only. They pay you when you die from accident or get disable from one.
I bought this kind of insurances when I was actively travelling but I now that I stay at home, I no longer avail. Anyway, I don’t know if those who availed this kind of insurance got paid when they are only disabled. Many in the US had a hard time claiming social security disability because they require passing many requirements and valid evidences of their disability.
Oh well, I think it shouldn’t be hard. If you lose an arm from an accident, how much evidence do you need to prove that you are now a disabled person? I think missing an arm is already enough, right?
