It’s already been seven months since I have resigned from my job as a branch manager to one of the leading direct selling company here in our country. So far, though there are financial struggles, I have not regretted resigning from my work. I have enjoyed my life as a stay-at-home mommy and enjoyed the luxury of time to spend with the kids.

The only decision that I regretted was going back here at our hometown. I felt that it was a wrong move to our marriage. Being separated for two years, we have not grown back the trust and the respect to each other. We are still in the process of making up for the lost years.

Anyway, there are some good things about being here in my hometown. Aside from seeing my parents and old friends, my hubby was able to find company with our church members. Before, he was not that active in going to church but now, Pastor told me he is already attending and playing the guitar. It was indeed a good news but it would still be better if we as a family will go to church as one.

I am really praying that someday, we will find ourselves back at Bacolod, together as a united family and building our marriage to a better future!
