Long before, I tried the world of direct selling. I have tried selling all kinds of stuff, both tangible and intangible products.
One of the most difficult for me is selling intangible products like insurances. Aside from preparing life, educational or auto insurance quotes, I had a hard time making my customer see what their present purchase is worth the future. Well, it is easier said than done.
Then I became an expert in selling intangible products but not insurances but opportunities to make money thus landing me a job at one of the leading direct selling company in the Philippines as a sales trainer. Then later, I was promoted to handle a branch.
Selling is a nice experience but one thing I learned. It’s easier to sell something that you have experienced with and the products you believe in!
